In and Of the Blue Ridge Mountains

Come hide away with us.  Stay in our Lodge, which is constructed out of reclaimed 19th century logs, or any of our other four rustic cabins.  We'll serve you a delicious country breakfast each morning in our dining area while you observe the native flora and fauna.

We'd love to be your home base for a few nights while you explore some of Virginia's top tourist attractions, or your mid-week respite.

We also have an electric car charging station. Tesla and other electric car owners can wake up to a fully charged vehicle here!

Upcoming Event

Prost! Oktoberfest in the Virginia Mountains? Join us and find out what we know.

Upon your arrival Friday afternoon, begin to unwind with a European Picnic Basket, which will be waiting for you in your room. Enjoy dinner anywhere you'd like: on our wide front porch overlooking the mountains, or in your room, spread out in front of a fire, just to give you a few ideas. After a peaceful night's sleep, we'll fill you up with our full country breakfast and send you on your way to explore the Blue Ridge Mountains. Enjoy any of the numerous hikes within 10 miles of the Inn, a scenic drive along the Parkway, or check out the Apple Butter Festival at Wade's Mill, a few miles down the road. Watch them make apple butter and demonstrate some of Virginia's heritage crafts. Festival admission is free and local BBQ, Rockbridge wine and bread from Wade's Mill's outdoor oven will be available. Then return to us Saturday night for our Oktoberfest Feast, including beer cooked brats, German potato salad, homemade sauerkraut, pirogi’s, and more. (Check out our full menu.) And, of course, German beer will be available for purchase. Bring back proof of attendance at the Apple Butter Festival and receive a free beer to kick off your Feast.

Why not see for yourself if we know anything about German food and festivities. Zum wohl!

$371.20 (standard queen room) - $526 (St. Mary's); price subject to availability, tax not included.
